Tim Carlson has been the head throws coach at Sehome high school in Bellingham

Washington for the past 30 years. During this time, Sehome has won 11 state team

titles (5 Boys, 6 Girls).  Tim is a popular throws clinician and has been a frequent

speaker at the Washington State Track & Field Coaches Association convention and

the All Sports School. He has a passion for the throws and a willingness to share his

knowledge with his peers.

Career accomplishments (in the throws):

- 36 District Champions

- 100 State Meet Qualifiers

- 12 individual State Champions

- 73 State Placers

- 21 straight years qualifying an athlete for state in either the shot or discus

- 2007: Boys went 1-2-3 at the State Meet in the Shot and 1-4-6 in the Discus

- 2007: 42 throw points led boys to team title and were more than the 2 nd place

team’s total points

- Multi-time Whatcom County Track ‘s & Field Coach /Co-Coach of the Year.
