Scott Halley (Coach Halley) is a javelin coach and accomplished athlete with over 20 years of coaching experience. He currently serves as the assistant head coach at Gresham High School and runs CoachHalley.com a coaching business that supports coaches and athletes of all ages worldwide. Additionally, Scott operates a thriving YouTube channel dedicated to teaching javelin technique with nearly 2 million views globally.

Scott’s passion for javelin began in high school, where he placed second at the Oregon State Track and Field Championships in 1996 with a throw of 196' 8". The following year, he claimed the state title with a throw of 209' 2". His competitive career includes titles as an NAIA National Champion, USA Masters Champion, and a World Masters Silver Medalist.

As a coach, Scott has worked with thousands of athletes, including numerous state and national champions, masters champions, and record holders. Through both in-person and online coaching, he continues to help athletes around the world improve their javelin technique and achieve their goals.
