Dave Anderson has compiled a very impressive coaching career with 28 team state championships and 31 runners-up finishes in Louisiana, Arkansas and last year at Siuslaw. In 2018, he started a club, Boston Mountain Athletics that produced 2 AAU National Champions, a D-II All-America as well as numerous state champions and school record holders. He has been selected the state coach-of-the-year several times and been inducted into 2 Halls of Fame. Nine of his former athletes went on to play in the NFL. A sought-after clinician, he has spoken at clinics in 9 states and Australia. Ruston, Louisiana named its facility, the Dave Anderson Track and Field Complex.
