Galen Rupp competed in the Summer Olympics in 2008 in Beijing, 2012 in London, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro and 2021 in Tokyo. He won the silver medal in the men's 10,000 meters in London and the bronze medal in the men's marathon in Rio de Janeiro.

Son of Gregory and Jamie Rupp...Has one brother, Colin...Married to Keara Rupp and has four children...Seven-time NCAA All-American (twice outdoors, four indoors and once in cross-country) in 2007...Won the inaugural Bowerman Award, given to the men’s and women’s national track and field athlete of the year...Won five NCAA titles as a senior at the University of Oregon.
