Max Lydum is in his 3rd year coaching the throws at Western Oregon University, where he has coached athletes to five GNAC individual titles in the shot put and discus. He previously coached one year at Lane Community College. While competing in the hammer and weight throw at the University of Oregon, he was a Pac-12 scorer and NCAA Outdoor Track and Field championships qualifier. He currently sits 7th in UO history in the weight throw.
