Head Track & Field Coach - Westside Christian High School

Scott Ball began distance running as a freshman at Clackamas High School and continued throughout his college years at George Fox College. Upon graduation in 1986, he started teaching and coaching in the Hillsboro School District, then Pacific University, and finally at Westside Christian High School where he’s served as the Head Track & Field coach since 2009. His “day job” is that of Academic Counselor at Westside before he moves to coaching in the afternoons. He serves the OACA as a 3A representative for Cross Country and Track & Field. In the 2016-17, he was selected as the NFHS National Coach of the Year for Girls Cross Country. He’s about to celebrate 40 years of marriage and enjoys time with his 3 children, their spouses, and 7 grandchildren.
